update

wow haven't updated on here for a while... what's been happening?

Plenty!

Ruby won out of Grade 3 winning the 1-3 Agility at Dordale. In her first comp aat grade 3 at Newark she got a 3rd in the 1-4 Agilty, at Shuttleworth she got a 2nd in the 3 agility and then managed to get that first on the third attempt. Very proud of her.

Little Tazbo also managed to get a 16th in a 1-6 special class. Well chuffed with that.

Oz has had one place (10th) in a 1-4 jumping which was very pleasing, his 'thing' is still flyball though really and at Wood Green in April beat his fastest ever time getting a 4.05. Very pleased with the fool lol

Jinx is doing well, nearly a year old and has just started doing some agility training. She is doing really well but definitely has the comedy factor.

Mum has a new puppy, not sure how it happened really lol but we have said that about the last 6 so there we are lol. Her name is Luna and she is 3/4 collie and a 1/4 staffy. She is lovely little thing and has settled in really well. :)

winter time

Haven't been on here for a while but the doggies have been busy as usual.

Oz & Ruby have both now gained their Flyball Silver Awards - the first Milestone award in Flyball :) so proud of them both.

Oz's indoor flyball has been going from strength to strength over the winter. His times came down to 4.1 at Maidstone at February (over 13 inches) and his team came 1st with a new fastest indoor time of 17.27. A great day for them and throughly proud of the boy :)

Ruby has been doing better indoor as well, she is still better as first dog but is crossing better with Wizz. She did have one of her infamous 'token moments' when racing against a Dobie. She is such a wimp, but she recovered to race against the next team without a problem.

Jinx has grown enormous amounts and at 8 months there is still more to come. She weighs 16.25 kg now and is a lovely dog, but so so so so naughty. Her concentration isn't the best but we are working on it. She is definitely a massive challenge after having collies!

Update

Well it is winter so all our competitions are coming to an end

We had our last indoor tournament at Maidstone on Sunday and Ruby and Taz did very well. Ruby is still much better outdoors but is getting there in the indoor environment. Oz was poorly so had to be pulled out, poor boy. After chicken and rice for a few days he is feeling much better and is back to spinning and generally acting like a fool.

Little Jinx is not so little...... She will be 5 months old soon... wonder when she will stop growing. She saw her Mum, Dad and Brother on sunday and had a lovely time. Becky taught her some new tricks to keep her entertained during presentations.

Our last winter league on Saturday (if it is not cancelled due to snow) and am hoping to work on Ruby's waits (serious lack of it!) and Oz and Taz's weaves. I know they can do it, but doing it in competition seems to be a challenge at the moment. Never mind, if it was easy it would be boring!

Winter League

Was well chuffed with Ruby, she got a 1st in the Grade 1-3 Agility, 3rd in the 2-5 Agility and 6th in the 1-3 jumping :-)

Oz and Taz, what can I say...... 'weave' means 'weave' :-)

Well done anyway boys :-)

Officially Winter & New Additions

It is the official start of winter. 1st Indoor Flyball Comp completed at maidstone and wow what a fantastic time we had. Both Ruby & Oz got 2nd and apart from an Ozzie mad moment they both did very well for their first indoor tournament since Feb.

Jinx is growing like a weed and is almost as big as the Bad Chicken at 15 weeks old!

It's also the first agility Winter League competition at Burchetts Green on Saturday.... feeling slightly nervous but going to try my best to treat it as constructive training for next season when we have to compete in the very scary Grade 3

Ruby Sue

My clever girlie won out of Grade 2 at Letchworth at the weekend. It was quite a difficult course and we had a couple of dodgy turns but she still managed to win by 1.6 seconds. I had no idea she had any chance of winning and was chuffed to get her round the complicated course clear! So proud of her.

Oz was a good boy, the most confident he has been at a 'busy' show with rings quite close together. He tried really hard so was chuffed with him

Bud for the third time this year did not get eliminated from the jumping course! He got 10 faults, not bad for Buddy boy. One poll and one missed weave but did them the second time. Very pleased with him and he did the long jump which he hasn't done all year :-)

BFA Champs

Wow what a weekend...............

Ruby raced on Saturday and they got 3rd after one of their team mates (Derby) was spooked. She, Merlot, Wizz and Jack ran their little hearts out, by the end she was shattered.

Oz raced on Sunday with Chablis, Mia, Jazz and Monkey and they got............. 1st... OMG what a massive achievement. They raced really well in a very tight division.

Taz and Chicken raced on Friday with Breeze, Nala and Kaiza and they came 5th, again some really close racing, they did themselves proud.

Bud also got a 1st along with Tayler, Chip, Blue and Dare Bear, another massive achievement.

What a weekend
